Wuthering Heights
Despite this being a classic, I just couldn't get into it. Heathcliff and Cathy were both so insufferable that I just wanted them to both go away and stop being miserable. Not sure what else to say. Beautifully written but unfortunately the unbearable characters and the equally grim circumstances (and I'm a person who loves a dark narrative) just killed it for me.
