I can't remember who recommended these books to me but I really wish I did so I could thank them. Reading the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was my first foray into the thriller genre and I've never looked back. It's become a favorite of mine and these books are responsible for opening my eyes to so many other fantastic books. Loved the dynamic between Lisbeth and Blomkvist and I can easily say Lisbeth Salander is one of the most badass women in literature EVER. She made being intelligent seem cool. Really wish the author was still around today to see how greatly these books have touched people.
